Taking the historical model as a template, we integrate the techniques and materials of the modern age to create a timeless companion with the 19FORTIS. In its 40mm polished stainless steel housing, the Swiss automatic movement ETA 2892-A2 pulses constant and steadfast. In order to make use of the unmistakable look of the 1940s, FORTIS has used rosé-gilded Roman numerals and indices on the dial. The hour and minute hands are also gilded, whilst the blued second hand creates and exciting contrast. The date display at 6 o’clock stands out clearly from the pleated silver-opal face.
