  • Operating your new watch - important things to know
Congratulations on your new FORTIS timepiece. In order to operate the watch correctly please read the full manual before operating the watch. You can find the manual here. Two very important notes upfront: Never quick set the day-date if the time is between 10 and 2 o`clock. During this time the movement will change it automatically and if you try to do it yourself wheels can break. If you bought a watch with screw-down pushers or a screw-down crown please always screw them down before you wash your hands, jump in the pool or doing anything else with water included. Water problems that can be redirected to this issue will not be granted by warranty.
